Change Starts With You- Youth Conference

Don’t miss this awesome youth conference: Saturday, August 10th from 1-5PM at Allen Hall on UB’s South Campus!

Come join us as we pave the way for the future of our youth on Aug. 10th @ UB Allen Hall from 1-5 p.m.. We will be focusing on various issues that are plaguing our youth today, homicide, violence, bullying, suicide, low self, esteem, peer pressure. There will be motivational speakers, exhibitors, song, dance, spoken word & also we will not only be educating our youth but providing resources. We will have prizes along with school supplies to give away & food. COME SUPPORT & BRING YOUR CHILDREN TO HELP MAKE A CHANGE IN OUR CHILDRENS LIVES BECAUSE CHANGE STARTS WITH US.

  • Fruit Roll-Up Sushi

    Fruit Roll-Up Sushi– A fun & tasty way to introduce your Little to new cuisine.  What you need: Box of Fruit Roll-ups Jar of Marshmallow Fluff (green food coloring if you want to make it look like Wasabi) Rice Krispies Swedish Fish Directions: Roll out Fruit Roll-up, spread fluff, add Rice Krispies and Swedish fish. Roll back up and cut into regular sushi size pieces. To add more fun, purchase some “kid friendly” sushi like California or Avocado Rolls and serve as your main meal.  Again, this is a great way to introduce new cuisine and make it fun!  

  • Young Audiences of WNY at Canalside

    Experience the excellent programming offered by Young Audiences WNY at Canalside! You and your Little can enjoy and learn from performances, workshops, and engaging presentations from artists dedicated to education through the arts. Some activities include the Erie Canal Traveling Museum workshop, Configuration Dance Creative Movement workshop, Ismail & Co Singing in Different Languages and the Stuart Fuchs Ukelele Show.   • Fun on Old Falls

    Nestled between Niagara Falls State Park and the Niagara Falls Conference and Event Center is historic Old Falls Street. There are many free or low-cost events that occur on this cobble stone and tree-lined destination. This is a great opportunity to enjoy one of the world’s natural wonders with your Little, but also treat them to some other fun activities.   • Wild Game Safari Rides

      Now running through the end of October, Hidden Valley Animal Adventure Park hosts a guided trolley tour to view over 200 animals! Each ticket comes with a cup of grain and access to Small Animal Adventure, where you can interact with smaller, friendly animals. Tickets are $18 for adults and $14 for kids ages 3-10.
