Looking for a fun event to take your Little to that he or she will be talking about for months?

Check out Battle @ Buffalo Under the Lights, a family-friendly B-boy (break-dance) and Hip Hop festival on Saturday, August 24th from 12-10PM outside of New Era’s Flagship Store.

Watch as local, regional and even internationally competitive dancers battle it out in “B-boy” and “All Styles” categories. Hear local musicians Billy Drease Williams, Chillharmonic Orchestra and DJs Cutler, Sike and TrevThorne, and enjoy dance demonstrations, an interactive art tent with activities for all ages, food trucks and local vendors. Get the full details and mark your attendance on the Under the Lights Facebook event page.

Under the Lights was founded by Verve Dance Studio, and is a special annual edition of their monthly competition Battle @ Buffalo. This month’s event marks Verve’s 8th anniversary. Battle @ Buffalo is regularly held on the last Saturday of each month, and is the city’s only all ages urban dance competition. The battles are family friendly, with music edited for content, and cost only $5 to watch and $6 to battle (events like this in other cities can cost upwards of $25!).
