BBBSENST Celebrating National Alumni Week Header

As part of National Mentoring Month, we celebrated National Alumni Week [January 13-17], a time dedicated to recognizing the extraordinary Alumni who continue to make a difference through their time, compassion, and commitment.

Locally, we celebrated by inviting our Alumni – people who have been a part of our organization as a Big, a Little or the family of a Little – to connect with us and share their stories about the power of mentorship.

We highlighted two of these amazing stories from Alumni Big Jen and her Little Jamie, as well as from Alumni Little turned Big, Nasha, and her college-bound Little Jayda. Jen and Nasha are particularly inspiring because their dedication to Big Brothers Big Sisters remains strong. Both are members of our Ambassadors Board—a group of leadership volunteers who help raise awareness for our mission.

Jen and Nasha are particularly inspiring because their dedication to Big Brothers Big Sisters didn’t end when their Littles aged out of the program. Both are members of our Ambassadors Board—a group of current and former Bigs who help raise awareness for our mission.

If the idea of making a meaningful impact on a young person’s life speaks to you (or someone you know), we invite you to become a Big and help unlock the potential of our youth. Visit BiggerTogether.org/volunteer to begin that journey.

A BIG thank you to all of our incredible Alumni who continue to embody the spirit of mentorship long after their time in our program. We are Bigger Together!
