Welcome to the FIRST-EVER BIG Meat Raffle, hosted by our incredible Ambassadors Board – and trust us, this is not your average night out.

We’re talking LOTS of meat (yes, LOTS), high-energy rounds, cheering, laughter, and that electric feeling when your number gets called. Who doesn’t love meat? Exactly.

But this night isn’t just about steaks, chops, and bragging rights.

We’ll also have dozens of silent auction items, incredible baskets, and surprise goodies you won’t want to miss. It’s the perfect chance to grab something awesome while supporting something even bigger.

  • Robert F. Moss Tribute Night with the Buffalo Bisons

    Bigs, Littles and friends of the program honored BBBSEC Founder the late Robert F. Moss at a recent Buffalo Bisons game. Our President and CEO David T. Hore and Board Member De Moss, wife of the late Robert F. Moss, accepted a $1500.00 check in Bob’s honor from the Buffalo Bisons. Our guests also enjoyed watching a Big & Little throw out the first pitch on the field!

    It’s National Mentoring Month!

    Food & Friendship

    Wegmans Food Markets sponsored 10 matches from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie County for a healthy eating/cooking workshop titled “Food & Friendship” at the Sheridan Drive location in Williamsville. The goal of the workshop was to spread the “Eat Well. Live Well.” message in a fun and interactive class. Taught by a trained Wegmans staff member, the workshop was a hands-on experience for the Little Brothers and Little Sisters, ages 6-10, and their mentors. The 90-minute session included a tour of the produce section, trying new fruits and making recipes that could be duplicated in future outings between the child and their Big Brother or Big Sister mentor. The matches enjoyed helping in food preparation of simple recipes and learning about making healthier food…

  • Big Brothers Big Sisters Hosts First Flag Football Event

    On May 18, 2024, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Erie, Niagara, and the Southern Tier kicked off an exciting new tradition: our inaugural Flag Football Event! Held at the ADPRO Sports Training Center, this event brought together over 30 children from our program and more than 20 enthusiastic volunteers for a day filled with football drills, teamwork, and fun.

  • Amazing Night Celebrating Amazing Women!

    A BIG Thank You to our sponsors and all who attended our 5th Annual Women Who Move the City!  The funds raised at this event will help us to match more Little Sister with Big Sisters thus, creating the next generation of Women Who Move the City! Congratulations again to our 2018 Honorees: Zandra Cunningham, Emily Felmet, Jody Galvin, Raziya Hill and Alexa Zappia! Lastly, thank you to our host year after year AND this year’s honorary Women Who Move the City awardee, Janet Snyder.
