Our Work

Speed Networking Event

In August 2021, Big Brothers Big Sisters hosted a Speed Networking Event to give Bigs & Littles the opportunity to get to know some diverse leaders in the community who make our mission possible. Participants included a local pastor, City of Buffalo Council Member, City Council Judge and Commissioner of Jurors, leaders of local businesses and many other leaders within our community. Our Littles were able to “Speed Network” and ask a variety of questions, while also playing a fun game of ‘Get to Know You BINGO”.

Out in the Community

In 2022, Big Brothers Big Sisters Staff, Bigs, Littles, Families and marched in the Pride Parade and the Juneteenth Parade to show our continued support for our community. We welcome and support all individuals into our program and are proud to march alongside the community in celebration.

Trainings & Engagement Opportunities

The agency continues to offer Bigs, Littles and the families of Littles, a variety of listening and learning opportunities focused around justice, equity, diversity and inclusion, as well as information about community engagement.
