Empowering Potential

Big Brothers Big Sisters operates under the belief that in every child is incredible potential.

We have been matching caring adults with local children for 50 years, and have impacted the lives of over 12,500 youth. Big Brothers Big Sisters creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships between volunteers mentors (Bigs) and children ages 5 through young adulthood (Littles) in Erie County, Niagara County, and the Southern Tier of New York State.

These quality mentoring relationships are built on friendship and trust, and are proven to be a significant and positive influence in the life of the child—AND the volunteer.

20 Years of Driving Impact Join us at Transit Valley Country Club as we celebrate two decades of mentorship, community, and changing lives – one swing at a time. For 20 years, our community has been showing up, teeing off, and making an impact — one swing at a time. The Big Brothers Big Sisters Golf Tournament isn’t just a great day on the course. It’s a day that helps create life-changing matches between local kids and the mentors who show up for them. Each year, this event raises more than $50,000 to support that mission.
