Empowering Potential

Big Brothers Big Sisters operates under the belief that in every child is incredible potential.

We have been matching caring adults with local children for 50 years, and have impacted the lives of over 12,500 youth. Big Brothers Big Sisters creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships between volunteers mentors (Bigs) and children ages 5 through young adulthood (Littles) in Erie County, Niagara County, and the Southern Tier of New York State.

These quality mentoring relationships are built on friendship and trust, and are proven to be a significant and positive influence in the life of the child—AND the volunteer.
