Harvest Fest! September 21st!
Our Annual Harvest Festival is taking place on Saturday, September 21st from 10am-12pm at Baird Point on UB’s North Campus. Parking is available in Arena Lot, Lake Lasalle Lot, and Furnace Hall Lot. Art Park Free Family Saturdays

Explore Squaw Island!
On Saturday, September 14th from 12-2pm we have a trip to Squaw Island planned with the Buffalo Audubon Society. This is a great opportunity for you and your Little to get out and explore the great outdoors. Did you know that Squaw Island is a wetland and is the home to many different bird and animal species that you might not see other places in Western New York? Throughout the two hour trek, a environmental and wildlife expert will teach us interesting facts about the watershed, animals, and environment. Summer Farmer’s Markets
Spring and Summer in Buffalo mean a lot of things. Sunshine, heatwaves (but maybe a little hail here and there, who knows!), trips to the beach, cook-outs, and of course flip flops! Another big part of summer in Buffalo is the incredible Farmer’s Markets that spring up all over Western New York! Did you know that there are more than 20 in our area? There are many reasons to enjoy a morning at the Farmer’s Market with your Little. Hawk Creek
Hawk Creek is a nationally known gem in East Aurora, New York that aims to create an understanding of the natural world. They specialize in environmental education and wildlife conservation and rehabilitation. Hawk Creek has over 80 different types of animals that reside there as they can not be returned to their natural habitat, due to permanent injury or dependence on humans. There are over 2,500 educational programs provided by Hawk Creek each year, such as Rise of the Raptors! coming up tomorrow, June 8th.
